It has been a while since our last update on Jenelle, which only means that things have been very stable. Jenelle keeps amazing us with her progress and her budding personality. On Easter, after Big Brother Jack and Cousin Trevor participated in an Egg Hunt, we sat the three kids down for a photo (see below.) Just as Jack turned to look at the camera, Jenelle used her hands and grabbed her brother's bag of eggs! It seems she didn't want to be left out on all the fun.
Later that day, Jenelle thoroughly enjoyed some vanilla ice cream and actually used her hand to get the ice cream on her fingers and into her mouth! If this girl could live on ice cream -we'd be in heaven! We are still waiting on the results of the Rett Syndrome test. My last e-mail from UCLA said that City of Hope may have the results in late May! She had her blood drawn for that test in January - amazing!!
Team Jenelle's Avocados is getting ready for the upcoming Freedom Walk on May 5! That is only 3 weeks away and the team is a little behind on donations. This partly because I've been too busy to remind everyone, and because my firm has started their own team and thus many donations have been diverted there (which is great as it all goes to the same wonderful cause!)
